The meat processor will process meat, which includes, but is not limited to, making, curing, smoking, cutting and slicing meat products based on company specifications. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Improve supply chain processes and manage data effectively to identify opportunities for efficiency.
- Research and implement new technologies, tools, and SOPs to optimize operations.
- Train employees on new processes and technologies to ensure adoption and consistency.
- Take ownership of specific supply chain functions such as planning, scheduling, and logistics.
- Initiate and manage projects with regular updates to management.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to maintain smooth operations.
- Be eager for continuous learning and keeping up with industry trends.
- Ensure all timelines are met or communicated to the appropriate people if there are delays.
- Offer the Supply Chain Development Lead all methods of improving the organization of work.
- Establishes a strong team spirit by promoting communication and respect.
- Performs other tasks at the request of immediate superior.

Position with no staff supervision

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of supply chain concepts such as demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and production planning.
- Familiarity with statistics, forecasting models, inventory models, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, Programming Languages (Python, R and SQL).
- Self-motivated, research-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail oriented and meticulous
- Strong commitment to teamwork and concern for others (promote a team-building environment)
- High level of personal responsibility and ownership
