Cajun Style Pork Tasso
Unit Weight: 1 lb.
Down south in hot Creole kitchens, the air is saturated with wonder, slow-cooked patience, and a generous heap of spice. On the countertops of such kitchens you may find an important piece of flavor voodoo: pork Tasso. Fully cooked, cured and rubbed with a spicy crust featuring cayenne pepper and garlic, Tasso is a key ingredient in bayou-worthy gumbos.

How To Cook
Our hams are fully cooked. To warm, place the unwrapped ham in a 325°F preheated oven. For a half ham, place the cut surface down to protect the ham from drying out. Reheat the ham for 16 – 18 minutes per pound for a whole ham, and 8-9 minutes per pound for a half ham. The internal temperature of the ham should be 165°F upon serving.
