Black Forest Ham & Cheese Stromboli

Description
Black Forest ham & cheese Stromboli for a quick & easy, mid-week win! Our deli meat is free from all the fake stuff so you can feel good about feeding your family on the fly.
Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough
- 1 TBSP butter, melted & divide
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ C shredded mozzarella
- 12 oz. North Country Smokehouse Organic Black Forest Deli Ham
- 1 egg, beaten
- ¼ TSP garlic powder
- 2 TBSP Parmesan cheese
- 2 TBSP parsley, chopped
- Marina sauce, for dipping
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F degrees. Lightly flour your workspace. Roll pizza dough into a rectangle about 12x14 inches.
- In a small bowl, combine 1 TBSP melted butter and minced garlic. Brush over the top of the dough. Sprinkle ¾ C mozzarella cheese on top of dough, leaving a 1-2 inch border along one long edge and the two short edges. Top the cheese with ham. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the ham.
- In another small bowl, beat the egg with a fork. Use a brush to coat the three exposed edges of the dough where there isn’t any cheese.
- Carefully roll up the cheesy, long edge of your Stromboli - jelly roll style. Roll tightly so it stays together. Seal the seam with wet fingertips. Then roll the Stromboli so the seam is facing down. You may need to tuck the of the dough under so its sealed. Transfer Stromboli to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Combine the remaining melted butter, garlic powder, parmesan, and parsley in a small bowl. Brush the top of the stromboli with the mixture. Use a sharp serrated knife to make shallow diagonal cuts every two inches along the top of the stromboli.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before cutting into eight slices. Serve with marina sauce.
