Chocolate Bacon Sea Salt Dips

Description
This simple recipe combines our smoky strips with rich dark chocolate and just a pinch of coarsely ground sea salt for a little treat to share.
Ingredients
- 12 oz. North Country Smokehouse Sugar Free Applewood Smoked Uncured Bacon
- 16 oz. sugar free dark chocolate chips
- Sea salt
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F. Lay out strips of bacon on aluminium foil lined baking sheet. Cook bacon for 12-20 minutes, or until desired crispiness is achieved.
- Transfer bacon onto a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Line a cool baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe mixing bowl. Microwave in 30 second intervals until completely melted, making sure it doesn’t burn.
- Dip the bacon strips into the melted chocolate one at a time, leaving a small end undipped for holding. Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with coarsely ground sea salt as desired.
- Place baking sheet in the fridge and let cool for 30 minutes before serving.
