Description
Fresh ground pork sourced from family farms that care. These meatballs stuffed with cream cheese and hearty chunks of our signature smoky strips are perfect for dinner or even as an appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb North Country Smokehouse Organic Ground Pork
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 10 oz Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilis, drained
- 1 ¾ C Bisquick baking mix
- 1 C cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 oz North Country Smokehouse Organic Applewood Smoked Bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, softened cream cheese, drained tomatoes & chilis, and chopped bacon. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
- Add the Bisquick baking mix and shredded cheddar cheese to the sausage mixture. Mix until fully combined and the dough is holding together.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place the meatballs onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve while still warm and enjoy!
