Lil’ Smokies Bacon Wrapped Franks

Lil' smokies with big flavour. Meaty, crispy, and maple soaked. Our three favourite things wrapped up in one tasty bite. There's no way you can eat just one.
Ingredients
- 10 oz. North Country Smokehouse Uncured Delicatessen Franks, cut into 2 inch pieces
- 8 oz. North Country Smokehouse Organic Applewood Smoked Uncured Bacon
- ½ C Authentic Maple Syrup
- ½ C Light Brown Sugar
- ½ TSP Red Pepper Flakes
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
- Cut each slice of bacon into thirds and wrap each 2 inch piece of uncured frank with bacon.
- Place bacon wrapped franks on a baking sheet and set aside.
- In a small saucepan, add maple syrup, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes. Cook mixture over low heat until incorporated, stirring frequently.
- Brush sauce over bacon wrapped franks on both sides and place in oven. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until bacon is crispy.
