Description
Saint Nick knows he hit New England when he parks his sleigh beside a warm bowl of Vermont cheddar sausage & craft beer cheese dip. Guaranteed to get us on the good list.
Ingredients
- 1 pack North Country Smokehouse Uncured Vermont Cheddar Sausage, diced & browned
- 18 oz. cream cheese, softened
- ¼ C sour cream
- 1 ½ TBSP Dijon mustard
- 1 TSP garlic powder
- 1 C amber beer
- 2 C shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ C whipping cream
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- Soft pretzels
Cooking Instructions
- In a greased 3-qt. slow cooker, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mustard, and garlic powder until smooth. Stir in beer, cheddar cheese, and sausage. Cook covered on low, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 hours or until heated through.
- In the last 30 minutes, stir in the heavy cream. Garnish with green onion.
- Serve with soft pretzels and your favourite beverage.
