Description
Our Jalapeno Cheddar sausage has a mild spice. Good thing – these pinwheels were hitting mouths faster than we could say “spiced just right”.
Ingredients
- 12 oz. North Country Smokehouse Uncured Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage, finely diced,
- 8 oz. Cabot Pepper Jack Cheese, shredded,
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened,
- 4 oz. can diced jalapenos, shredde,
- ½ TSP salt,
- 16 oz. crescent roll dough,
- ¼ C butter,
- 1 TSP garlic powder
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375F degrees. Shred block of pepper jack cheese. Add to mixing bowl with softened cream cheese, jalapenos, sausage, and salt. Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Roll out both cans of crescent roll dough and press perforations together. Spread cheesy sausage mixture evenly over the dough.
- Starting with the short side of the dough, roll up each sheet of dough tightly over the filling. Use a serrated knife to slice each roll into 1 inch slices.
- Arrange slices in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Combine the melted butter and garlic powder in small bowl, then brush it evenly on top of the rolls.
- Place in oven and bake for 28-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
