Ingredients:
15 slices North Country Smokehouse Applewood Smoked Uncured Bacon, fully cooked
½ C onion, finely chopped
3 TBSP apricot preserves
1 tube crescent rolls
Method:
1) Pre-heat oven to 375F. Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Add onion and stir until tender, about 3-5 minutes. Reduce heat to low, add preserves. Cook, stirring frequently, until melted.
2) Unroll crescent dough into one long rectangle, sealing the seams and perforations. Cut crosswise into fifteen 1 inch strips. Top each strip with one piece of bacon. Roll up each strip jelly-roll style starting on the short side. Pinch to seal and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
3) Spoon apricot mixture over each spiral. Bake until golden brown, about 12-15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Refrigerate any leftovers.
