Chocolate Bacon Sea Salt Dips

This simple recipe combines our smoky strips with rich dark chocolate and just a pinch of coarsely ground sea salt for a litle treat to share.

Servings: 12 pieces

Ingredients:

12 oz. North Country Smokehouse Sugar Free Applewood Smoked Uncured Bacon
16 oz. sugar free dark chocolate chips
Sea salt

Method:

1) Preheat oven to 375F. Lay out strips of bacon on aluminum foil lined baking sheet. Cook bacon for 12-20 minutes, or until desired crispiness is achieved.

2) Transfer bacon onto a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Line a cool baking sheet with parchment paper.

3) Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe mixing bowl. Microwave in 30 second intervals until completely melted, making sure it doesn’t burn.

4) Dip the bacon strips into the melted chocolate one at a time, leaving a small end undipped for holding. Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with coarsely ground sea salt as desired.

5) Place baking sheet in the fridge and let cool for 30 minutes before serving.
