Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage Pinwheels

Our Jalapeno Cheddar sausage has a mild spice. Good thing - these pinwheels were hitting mouths faster than we could say "spiced just right".

Total Time: 15 min prep, 30 min cook

Servings: 16 rolls

Ingredients:

12 oz. North Country Smokehouse Uncured Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage, finely diced
8 oz. Cabot Pepper Jack Cheese, shredded
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
4 oz. can diced jalapenos, shredded
½ TSP salt
16 oz. crescent roll dough
¼ C butter
1 TSP garlic powder

Method:

1) Preheat the oven to 375F degrees. Shred block of pepper jack cheese. Add to mixing bowl with softened cream cheese, jalapenos, sausage, and salt. Stir to combine all ingredients.

2) Roll out both cans of crescent roll dough and press perforations together. Spread cheesy sausage mixture evenly over the dough.

3) Starting with the short side of the dough, roll up each sheet of dough tightly over the filling. Use a serrated knife to slice each roll into 1 inch slices.

4) Arrange slices in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Combine the melted butter and garlic powder in small bowl, then brush it evenly on top of the rolls.

5) Place in oven and bake for 28-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
